I got a legal freebie Office 2013 Pro from Microsoft because we are a public charity. Similarly Office 2000 would not work on a Windows 7 machine. I tried installing my office 2000 on a Vista laptop andįound that wouldn't work because Vista doesn't support the Windows address book. The C: drive on my old XP box crashed a month ago. I have 20 years worth of old e-mails in numerous PST files written by Outlook 2000. I'm a retired mainframe engineer doing work for a public charity. Is this different from using the mail applet to create new mail profiles? What do you mean when you say we can create a new Windows user profile to rebuild everything? As I said in my original post I did add multiple new mail profiles in the mail applet and checked each one in turn as the default mail profile.
